Directions
The Heritage Park is located just off Highway 15 in the Town of Falkner, on CR 200 behind City Hall. Watch for signs along Hwy 15.
Admission
Free. The park and its monuments are open to the public; donations are gratefully received and go straight into the projects.
Museum & School House
The Museum and the Cooper Hill School House are opened for special events, group tours, and by appointment. Please call 662-587-4067 to arrange a visit or a group tour.
Accessibility & facilities
Public restrooms, the Gazebo and a Little Library are located on the original Old Town Falkner property behind the Town Hall. Parking is on site.

What you’ll find at the park

Everything sits within a short walk on one corner of Old Town Falkner.

The Cooper Hill School House

The original one-room school, restored and moved to the park. Its blackboard, bell and hand-painted sign are still in place. Open for events and by appointment.

Photographs, artifacts and heirlooms tracing a hundred years of Falkner: the Depot, the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio, the general stores, and the families who built the town.

The foundation is poured and the framing is next. Come see the slab, then picture the Depot standing on it again.

  • The wooded grove — ringed with donated, personalized metal benches and streetlights, on the grounds of the Old Town businesses that included Mrs. Davis’ General Store and Aunt Jalia’s Mercantile

Falkner Heritage Park hosts the town’s events through the year — and they are also when the Museum and School House are reliably open.

Fall Festival “Car & Jeep Show” — Saturday, September 26, 2026

Jeeps, classic and vintage cars in Falkner Heritage Park from 8 AM to 2 PM, serving barbecue and hotdogs, with a $20 donation entry fee.

Founders Day and the Quilt Expo come around each year as well. Full details, dates and contacts are on the events page.
